One day the little chick Pit became enormous, even bigger than the sun. Scientists start studying him and archaeologists even measure his footprints. Everything was tight on him, even his own home. This surreal and entertaining tale reminds us that often not everything is as it seems. We need to look at things with new eyes and from different perspectives... and then maybe we might even discover some nice surprises!

Daniela Berti - (1992) è un’autrice e illustratrice italiana che vive a Bologna. Originaria di un piccolo paese nel trevigiano, ha studiato arti visive e teatro allo Iuav di Venezia e illustrazione all’Isia di Urbino e all’ESA Saint Luc di Bruxelles. Nel 2018 ha ricevuto la menzione speciale al Concurso Internacional de àlbum ilustrado de Gran Canaria con il progetto “Dov’è Pongomario?” e nello stesso anno ha vinto il Premio Rodari al Festival Mille9Cento20 Video Fiabe e il premio Faber di Torino, con la video animazione “Macula”. Ha partecipato a mostre collettive di arte e illustrazione come “Mutatis” a Palermo, “Mediterranea 17” alla Fabbrica del Vapore a Milano e “Le immagini della Fantasia 33” di Sarmede.
